Secretary's Message
Institute of Management Studies - Roorkee is a pioneer institute for business studies in Roorkee. It is an institute, which is fast progressing for the youth of Uttarakhand and the country. The revamped faculty and the modernized facilities bear testimony to the same. As a modern institute, we are also presenting a more refreshed & interactive online site, for anyone and everyone seeking information about the establishment, at their desktops.

Director General
We at IMS-R are privileged to have a new Director General in Dr. Rakam Singh[B.Ed., M.Sc.(Chemistry), Ph.D.(IIT, Roorkee)], formerly Principal, B.S.M. College, Roorkee.
Dr. Rakam Singh has a long administrative and teaching experience of 39 years at various levels including 2 years abroad as Assistant Professor in Addis Ababa University, Ethopia. He has also worked as an N. C.C. officer for 20 years.
Dr. Rakam Singh is the achiever of the Khosla award (One of the highest and presitigious award of Roorkee University) with silver madel of research paper published in Inorganic Chemistry Journal in America. He is also a receipient of Bharat Siksha Ratan Award from HRD Minister. He was also honored by the Rotary Club, Non Government Organization and Shanti Kunj Hardwar for his work. The Governer of Uttarakhand also honoured him as best Principal. We are Lucky to have such an educated and well known person amongst us.
Director's Message
IMS-R is trying to provie best education and want students to come up with their true flying colours. We try to create the most conductive environment for learning. Our aim is to provide world class infrastructure for the budding talent to aquaint them with ensure value based learning for learners.
Here, we not only try to give theoretical edution but also believe in an overall personality and character development. As said by Roosevelt "To educate man in mind and not in moral is to educate a menance to society"'. I shed my best wishes to everyone and would like to remind that one can be motivated but has to get inspired by him self.
