Institute of Management Studies – Roorkee made a modest beginning in 1996, with a focused objective of bringing about intellectual awakening amongst the youth and to prepare manpower capable of contributing effectively towards economic development. The institute is an integrated organization, where faculty, administration and student participate actively and collectively in developing the Institute towards attaining higher levels of excellence.

An active step taken by the promoters of IMS-Roorkee has been unchallenged so far. The institute has been constructed in a way so as to provide the most versatile environment in literary terms. The effort of creating a niche for the students, faculty and the contributing promoters has been a success. It has been approved by AICTE and the institute is ready to set the ball in motion from 2009.The institute and the entire staff promises to provide vision, leadership and a strategy that will be a dynamic source of education, learning and will prove to be a key factor for providing internal synergies.
